I read Jim’s post about the foxes denning near Snow King Ave – it’s about 3 blocks from my house so I decided to ride my bike over yesterday afternoon.
There’s something that escapes description when you’re watching something so natural and so close. I took some video while I was standing there. It’s un-edited and I’m not sure that the feeling will translate. You’ll hear the road noise (though it sounds much louder in the video), and one video pans around to let you see where these foxes actually are—it’s amazing that they seem so unfazed by the crowds and the traffic noises.
